With over 12 years of experience in opticianry, I’ve built my career on a foundation of persistence, passion, and a deep commitment to the profession. I am proudly ABOC and NCLEC certified, an ABO-approved speaker, and serve as a board member of the Show-Me State Optician Society, where I advocate for the advancement of opticians across Missouri and beyond.

My journey in optics began in a way that shaped who I am as a consultant and educator today. Like many opticians, I wasn’t handed a structured training program. I had to be self-taught, learning through trial, error, and countless hours of dedication. Along the way, I watched talented opticians leave the field—burned out, undertrained, and frustrated. That experience lit a fire in me to change the narrative. Today, I use that passion to create education and training programs that give opticians the tools, confidence, and support they deserve.

In addition to training and education, I’ve seen firsthand the financial strain that private practices face. My work goes beyond staff development—I help practices save money and increase profitability by negotiating lab bills, optimizing insurance submissions, and rethinking frame board management. Every dollar saved and every streamlined system implemented allows practices to thrive while delivering the highest quality care to their patients.
